Cadillac Recalls Vistiq Over Missing Electronic Manual

Cadillac has issued a recall covering just 94 examples of its 2026 Vistiq electric SUV because they are missing an electronic user manual.

The cars are capable of downloading updates over the air, but in this case, owners will need to bring the vehicles into the dealership. Cadillac tells federal safety regulators that some Vistiq models may have left the factory with their radios left in a setting that prevents downloads.

So dealers will need to reset the radios to allow them to download the manual.

By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.

Automakers recall many cars to fix safety defects, sometimes more than once. While automakers try to reach every owner to ask them to bring the vehicle in for repair, they rarely get them all. Millions of vehicles on American roads need free recall repairs. To find out if your car is one of them, check the easy VIN tool at our recall center.
