Ford is launching a social media contest today, and the prize is the Ford Bronco Ultimate Sasquatch Searcher. It’s a modified 2024 Bronco Badlands built specifically to hunt for … Sasquatch?
Sasquatch, or Bigfoot as they are also known, are thought to have haunted North America’s forests for millennia. The 6-to-10-foot tall, 500-plus-pound ape-like beings are thought to be some sort of hominid. However, they are unknown to science through anything but shaky, grainy film and video imagery. As a result, they remain classified as cryptids.
And Ford has built a truck to hunt them. By all appearances, the company isn’t messing around. The Bronco Ultimate Sasquatch Searcher (officially also known as the Ultimate Sasquatch Searching Vehicle) upgrades the Badlands package with:
- Tree camo vinyl wrap
- 35-inch Mud-Terrain tires with beadlock-capable wheels
- Roof-mounted lightbar
- Front- and rear-facing dash cams
- Custom upholstered interior
- Awning and camping chairs
- Unique console badge and sill plates
- Custom Sasquatch badge and puddle light
Ford says the Bronco Ultimate Sasquatch Searcher is a one-of-a-kind vehicle. Despite the apparent ephemerality of a one-off social media contest prize, Ford is also offering a line of Sasquatch merchandise, including hats and T-shirts.
To get involved, follow the instructions posted in the photos or visit the Ford Bronco on Instagram. Then, crack the code and claim your prize.
