Mercedes-Benz has announced pricing for its newest entry level sedan, the 2019 A-Class, which will start at $32,500. That model slots below the recently unveiled CLA in the Mercedes lineup and will come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 188 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Output is delivered through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The base 2019 Mercedes-Benz A220 comes with front drive, while the A220 4Matic will have all-wheel drive and starts at $34,500. All prices exclude $995 delivery.

The A-Class boasts the first application of the new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system that employs natural speech recognition and artificial intelligence to learn the driver’s habits over time, and by responding to “Hey Mercedes” provides access to on-board apps and vehicle controls.
