Following a year’s delay, Alfa Romeo finally will be back in the U.S. and Canada later this year through a new network of 86 dealers announced by its parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. This first group consists of existing Fiat or Maserati outlets. The 82 U.S. dealers (Canada will have four) will be located in 33 states led by California with 12, Texas with 10 and Florida with 9.

In making the announcement, Peter Grady, Vice President of Network Development, Chrysler Group LLC, indicated this was just the first phase of a longer-term plan that’s expected to see the total number of Alfa franchises exceed 300 in all of North America. He also stressed that exceptional customer care will be a key to the success of the overall effort.

"Each Alfa Romeo dealer will have a unique staff dedicated to the brand’s premium market clientele. We require each Alfa Romeo dealer to have their sales and technical staff go through an intensive curriculum to ensure the highest levels of customer care and proficiency of the Alfa Romeo 4C. In addition to the standard-issue model, each of these dealers will receive the limited-run 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition.
