Acura has released a teaser photo of its redesigned third-generation RDX crossover SUV. Honda’s luxury division has a long track record of showing thinly disguised concepts of the next generation production model and this Acura RDX show car is no exception.
Exterior and interior styling is influenced by two previous show properties, the Acura Precision Concept and the Acura Precision Cockpit. The vehicle features a low, wide and sleek look of the Precision Concept and incorporates strong character lines that gives the compact crossover a muscular stance. The next RDX will have an all-new interior that includes a user interface and operating system designed from the ground up.

Of particular significance is the fact that the redesigned RDX will be based and also built on a new, Acura-exclusive platform. The RDX Prototype will be revealed on Jan. 15.
