Ahead of the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, Cadillac released details for the most expensive Escalade yet. To celebrate the luxury brand’s 125th anniversary, Cadillac will offer a limited-production Escalade-V Collector Series for the 2027 model year.
The Escalade-V is a high-performance version of Cadillac’s popular full-size SUV with a supercharged V8 engine and a sport-tuned suspension.
The exclusive Escalade-V will feature unique styling details, buyer-selectable serial and vehicle identification number (VIN) numbers, and a nearly $239,000 price tag. That’s roughly $66,805 more than a standard Escalade-V.
Limited Edition Focuses on Exclusivity, Not Extra Power
No New Power: The only differences in this version focus on styling elements. Under the hood, this special edition is based on the standard Escalade-V and uses the same supercharged 6.2-liter engine, which produces 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft of torque.
Exclusive Exterior Details: Cadillac will offer the Escalade-V Collector Series in two paint options: a dark Midnight Stone Frost or a bright Vibrant White Tricoat. Other exclusive exterior updates include:
- Carbon fiber trim pieces
- Unique forged 24-inch wheels
- Blue brake calipers
- Edition-specific badging
- Heritage V-8 puddle lamps
Exclusive Interior Details: The exclusive Collector Series style continues inside, offering commemorative details alongside a sleek black and gray finish with contrasting accents. Unique touches include:
- Santorini Blue stitching
- Anniversary badging
- Special floor mats
- Illuminated sill plates
- Blue key fob
Let’s Talk About the Price
The biggest story here may be the $239,000 price tag. With a nearly $67,000 premium over the standard Escalade-V, this is not an everyday choice by any means, especially when the powertrain and performance are unchanged.
Instead, it seems Cadillac is positioning this SUV as a collector’s item. Production is limited to 252 units, and buyers can choose serial numbers tied to years from 1902 to 2027, commemorating the brand’s 125-year history.
Orders for this special edition are open now in the United States and Canada.
