The Infiniti QX60 will get a styling makeover and new cabin technology for the 2026 model year, though its powertrain remains unchanged.
The QX60 has long been one of the more affordable luxury 3-row midsize SUVs, giving shoppers the chance to step up to a luxury brand for less. Infiniti hasn’t revealed pricing for 2026, but the lack of powertrain changes (it received a new engine just last year) means it’s likely to keep its value proposition. The current model starts at $51,550.
The 2026 QX60 gains brawnier styling, with some cues borrowed from the larger QX80, arguably Infiniti’s best design.
The changes include a larger, more upright grille that Infiniti says is “inspired by the intersecting shapes of a serene bamboo forest.” The new Infiniti logo, designed to look like an endless road fading into the horizon, comes illuminated this time.
Designers say a thicker band of bodywork below the doorsills gives the new QX60 “a longer, more horizontal appearance.”
We particularly like it in the new Deep Emerald shade, which has a touch too much lime to call it British Racing Green, but just a touch.
Sport Model Brings Visual Drama
A first-of-its-name Sport package sounds promising, but offers no mechanical upgrades. It’s designed, instead, to “give the vehicle its most dynamic appearance.”
It includes a unique front fascia with sharper grille mesh, gloss black 20-inch wheels, and darkened trim. Inside, Sport models get standard second-row captain’s chairs and a cool blue-and-black design scheme including Dusk Blue upholstery.
Interior upgrades include the same two 12.3-inch screens as the 2025 model, but they can display a lot more. A new 3D Around View shows a 3D model of everything around the car, including moving objects, to make parking easier.
“When equipped with the AUTOGRAPH Technology Package, the system is upgraded with a ‘spin’ functionality allowing the driver to swipe the viewpoint all around,” the company says.
An invisible hood view shows what’s under the car as well, which is useful off the road.
Big Audio Upgrade
The signature upgrade, however, is a new Klipsch audio system. Luxe and Sport trims get 16 speakers. The top-of-the-line Autograph trim gets 20. The premium system includes the ability to project certain sounds only to the driver through a headrest-mounted speaker.
This feature first appeared on the QX80. It lets the driver hear turn-by-turn directions without interrupting entertainment for passengers.
An upgraded version of Nissan’s ProPilot Assist driver assistance system, release 2.1, “elevates freeway driving by allowing attentive drivers to take their hands off the wheel in certain freeway driving scenarios,” Infiniti says. Available only on the Autograph trim, it can accelerate, steer, and brake to keep pace with traffic as long as the driver stays ready to take over and correct mistakes.
Infiniti says the new QX60 will reach dealers this summer. A spokesperson told industry publication Automotive News that a next-generation QX60, due in 2028, could offer an electric powertrain.
