  • Dodge has announced a new customization program for its Durango SUV
  • Buyers can combine paint, upholstery, wheel, and detail choices in more than 6 million different ways

Dodge announced perhaps the most extensive customization scheme in automotive history today. Shoppers choosing the new 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak will be able to configure the vehicle more than 6 million different ways.

The Durango is nothing new. It’s one of the oldest vehicle designs currently sold, last redesigned in 2011. It will be largely unchanged for the 2026 model year.

But Dodge is fond of special editions, and the Jailbreak takes that trend to extremes. Every SRT Hellcat Jailbreak will be powered by a 710-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine – one the company had largely stopped building until new, looser environmental regulations gave it a new lease on life.

But it’s the colors and materials that make this one special. Dodge will let buyers choose from:

  • Six different wheel options, fitted with a choice of four unique Brembo brake colors
  • Six exterior color options, including new-for-2026 Green Machine
  • Six exterior badge color choices
  • Five exterior dual-stripe designs and an all-new Gloss Black-painted hood
  • Five interior seat colors in three different configurations (5-, 6-, or 7-passenger seating) can be paired with a selection of four seat belt colors

Shoppers can also add a trailering package, power sunroof, Pirelli tires, premium audio system, and driver assistance technology to any Durango Jailbreak model.

The company hasn’t revealed pricing. Though the 2025 Durango on dealer lots today starts at $40,490, recent special edition models have had list prices as high as $115,315.

Orders will open Aug. 13, the company says, with deliveries starting in the fourth quarter.
