The Volkswagen Tiguan is all-new for 2025. Volkswagen’s best-selling vehicle, the compact SUV gets more power, better fuel economy, and a more grown-up look with the redesign.
A new, 201-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine means it no longer has a significant power deficit compared to rivals like the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Hyundai Tucson.
Inside, it has lost its third row. But this third-generation Tiguan gets an available 15-inch touchscreen — among the largest in the segment — and luxury options like massaging, heated and ventilated front seats, plus genuine walnut trim.
IDA, Volkswagen’s ChatGPT-enabled virtual assistant, is available with a subscription.
The Tiguan will once again come in front-wheel-drive (FWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD) form.
