2025 Kia EV9 Keeps Most Prices Steady

The 2024 Kia EV9 seen from a front quarter angle

The Kia EV9 has now been on dealer lots for a full year but is still a relatively rare sight on American roads. So, Kia will make minimal changes to the EV9 lineup for 2025 and keep prices steady for almost all trim levels.

The EV9, in case you haven’t seen one in person yet, is one of the most distinctive-looking cars on the road. It’s an all-electric SUV  — one of the few available with three rows of seating. Most SUVs look blocky and angular these days, but the EV9 takes that look to extremes, with an almost-fractal design that looks a little like a 3D model in a video game that hasn’t finished resolving yet.

It won the 2024 World Car of the Year award and our Best Buy Award among 3-row electric vehicles (EVs). Our test drivers love the EV9’s fast charging speeds, balance of long range and brisk acceleration, and its head-turning looks.

For 2025, Kia will add a sunroof as standard equipment to the Light Long Range trim level. It sees a $700 price increase to account for the change. Kia has removed the Relaxation Seat Package from the Land trim level and shuffled available colors. Otherwise, the EV9 remains the same for the new model year.
