Midsize Pickup Truck

2025 Jeep Gladiator Drops the Stick Shift, Window Crank

The 2025 Jeep Gladiator will lose manual everything. No more manual transmission. No more manual door locks. No more manual crank windows.

The end of the manual-equipped Gladiator leaves the 2025 Toyota Tacoma as the only stick-shift-equipped pickup sold in the U.S.

The Gladiator will retain all its unique Jeep charm for 2025, however. It’s an utterly unique vehicle – a convertible pickup truck almost more suited to the mud than the highway. “Most midsize trucks have some off-road ability in their pricier offerings, but the Jeep pedigree is the significant distinction here,” explains Kelley Blue Book expert test driver Colin Ryan. “Thanks to years of expertise gained from traversing all sorts of challenging terrain, most Jeep vehicles will go farther into the wild than virtually any rival, even if it’s a midsize pickup like the Gladiator.”

The now-standard power door locks, power windows, and automatic transmission won’t raise the price much. The 2025 Gladiator starts at $39,995 (after factoring in the mandatory $1,895 destination charge).

That’s just $205 over the $39,790 (after destination) sticker price of the 2024 model with manual everything. We should note, however, that Jeep is currently selling leftover 2024 models for 10% off sticker price. And they have a lot of leftover 2024 models to sell.

Other changes for 2025 include a new available software package that “allows customers to pre-condition their vehicle’s cabin, evacuating hot air in warmer weather, via the Jeep Connect mobile app before entering the vehicle.”

2025 Jeep Gladiator Pricing:

All prices include a mandatory $1,895 destination fee. Note also that Jeep charges for every paint color but white. So these are the prices for a white Gladiator. Most colors cost $595. The 2025 Jeep Gladiator is on sale now.
