Ford is fond of pointing out that it sells so many Super Duty heavy-duty trucks (think F-250, F-350, and up) that the lineup could spin off into its own Fortune 500 company. The current Super Duty, redesigned for the 2023 model year, combines 5G connectivity, a towing capacity of up to 28,000 pounds (conventional, 38,000 with a gooseneck trailer), and options that turn it into a luxury vehicle. It won the 2024 North American Truck of the Year award with its versatility.

How do you improve on a truck like that? You take it upscale for 2025.

Ford has opened order banks for the 2025 Super Duty but, strangely, hasn’t revealed pricing information. We don’t anticipate significant changes from 2024’s prices. They start at $46,965 for a bare-bones 250 XL and climb into the low six figures for a fully equipped luxury truck.

Improvements for the 2025 model year include a new Platinum Plus package adding those truffle leather seats (which now recline fully flat), satin trim, and a 20% discount on Ford accessories for the first 90 days.

One step down, the Platinum trim gets a new painted black grille, body-color door handles, and a Black Onyx cabin with Platinum Blue accents. Lariat trucks get ActiveX seating, which Ford describes as “a high-end synthetic seating material designed to fit the active lifestyle of Super Duty customers.”
