Luxury Midsize SUV Crossover

2024 Lexus TX Ranges From $55K to $76K

The all-new 2024 Lexus TX will start at $55,050, plus a $1,350 processing fee. Prices for a fully equipped model with hybrid power, enhanced sport handling, and luxuries like a 21-speaker sound system will push as high as the mid-$70,000 range.

The TX is all-new. It takes a place in the Lexus lineup once filled by the RX-L, a stretched version of the RX SUV. With its most recent redesign, Lexus dropped the long R from its lineup. Its replacement, the Lexus Texas, is the most family-oriented 3-row SUV Toyota’s luxury arm will build for the 2024 model year.

Lexus has other 3-row models. But, like the off-road-oriented GX or ultra-luxe LX, they are bigger, pricier, and more comfortable off of paved surfaces. The TX will emphasize a smooth on-road ride and car-like handling with SUV space.

It’s based on the same platform as Toyota’s new Grand Highlander, which offers similar traits at a more down-to-earth price and level of luxury.

The base model TX350 draws power from a 275-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. It comes in both front- and all-wheel drive (FWD and AWD). Stepping up to the hybrid 500h model gets the same engine mated to an electric motor system that boosts horsepower to 366. It comes in AWD only.

We expect a 550h+ plug-in hybrid version to join the lineup at a later date.
