Chevrolet has begun shipping 2024 Blazer EV models from the factory today, the automaker announced, and the vehicles are expected to reach customers soon. The first models of the brand new all-electric SUV to reach customers will be in RS AWD (all-wheel-drive) guise. Production of the 2LT AWD and rear-wheel-drive Blazer EV RS models will begin in fall.
Customers desiring the top-tier, high-performance SS trim will have to wait a little longer as production has been shifted to next spring. Details on the availability of the front-wheel-drive variants of the RS and entry-level 2LT models will be announced closer to their launches in 2024, Chevrolet says.
Chevrolet has also finalized pricing for the 2024 Blazer EV. The RS AWD models about to land on dealer lots will start at $60,215. The 2LT AWD and RS RWD deliveries to follow will start at $56,715 and $61,790, respectively. The higher manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of the RS RWD over the RS AWD includes a Bose audio upgrade. Prices for the remaining trims and drivetrains will be announced closer to their launch dates. Chevy notes that Blazer EV buyers may be eligible for up to $7,500 in federal tax credits
The Environmental Protection Agency has certified the estimated ranges of the RS AWD and 2LT AWD at 279 miles on a full charge. Chevrolet is still waiting for the test results on the other variants to come back from the EPA but expects an estimated range of 293 miles for the 2LT FWD and 320 miles for the RS RWD.
