The F Sport Design bundle brings the sporty looks with a more aggressively-styled front bumper and grille surround, rear spoiler, and exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels. It also adds Intuitive Park Assist, which does nothing to enhance the car’s appearance but is nice to have.
The F Sport Handling package brings the sporty driving feel, which adds an F Sport adaptive suspension with both a Sport+ mode and an owner-defined Custom Drive mode, as well as a heated sport steering wheel, aluminum interior trim, aluminum pedals, and a black headliner.
Other changes for 2023 include a new, higher-resolution touchscreen with voice controls (say “Hey, Lexus” to activate them). The screen is 8 inches, with a 12.3-inch option available. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, and a new wireless device charging pad is optional.
A new interior trim, Ash Bamboo, joins the options list.
Price changes are remarkably small given all the enhancements — up less than $400 at every trim level. As before, the Lexus ES is available in a wide range of trims, with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive, and 4-cylinder, V6, or hybrid powertrains.
