The 2023 Infiniti QX55 Starts at $49,150 – about $2,600 more than last year’s model. But you get more standard features for the added outlay.
The QX55 is Infiniti’s more stylish, less practical compact SUV. It shares a platform with the traditional QX50 but cuts a more athletic figure, thanks to its aggressively sloped roofline and a more exciting selection of colors.
Our reviewers have found it fun to drive, with more power from its base engine than German “SUV coupes” like the BMW X4 and Audi Q5 Sportback. They’ve had few complaints, noting a bit more road noise entering the cabin than in other luxury SUVs and a surprising lack of wireless Android Auto capability.
For 2023, even the base Luxe model gets perforated leather seats (replacing the leatherette found last year) and 4-way power lumbar support for the driver. Rear seat passengers gain a USB-C port, while the rear door handles get integrated LED lighting. Auto-folding side mirrors with blind-spot detection are now standard as well.
Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist package of driver aids is now standard on every trim level. Infiniti explains, “ProPILOT Assist can support drivers with acceleration, braking and steering during single-lane highway driving and can assist in stop-and-go traffic.”
Stepping up to the Essential trim adds traffic sign recognition and unique “cube design” headlights. The top-of-the-line Sensory grade brings that same adjustable lumbar support to the front passenger. It also adds outboard heated seats to the rear.
