2023 Ford Bronco Sport Gets Black Diamond Off-Road Package

The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport with the Black Diamond off-road packageThe smaller and less expensive of Ford’s two off-road-oriented SUVs is available in a wide array of configurations for 2023. But Ford has something new to add to the list. The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is now available with a Black Diamond off-road package that adds some capabilities from the top-of-the-line Badlands model without its full price.

Shoppers can add the Black Diamond package to the Big Bend or Outer Banks trim levels. It’s not available on the retro-styled, white-grille Heritage and Heritage Limited models.

The package adds four steel bash plates covering key 4×4 powertrain areas, including front metal skid plate, fuel tank protection and the canister shield, Ford says. It rides on unique 17-inch carbonized gray low-gloss aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.

A matte black horse hood graphic and lower bodyside Bronco lettering make it clear you’re looking at a Black Diamond.

Ford says shoppers can order the package today. But it hasn’t been added to the online vehicle configurator yet. It adds $1,295 to the price of the Bronco Sport, Ford tells us.

2023 Bronco Sport Includes Off-Roadeo Ticket

Every 2023 Bronco Sport also now comes with a ticket to a day of instruction at one of Ford’s Off-Roadeo off-road driving schools. Located in Horseshoe Bay, Texas (near Austin); Mt. Potosi, Nevada (near Las Vegas); Moab, Utah; and Gilford, New Hampshire, the schools offer trail drives led by off-road instructors who will show you how to get the most out of your new vehicle.
