The Kia Telluride has been an unquestioned smash hit. So, we could forgive Kia for letting it coast into 2022. But they haven’t. The automaker has made a few choice enhancements for the new model year.

Buyers love it, too. As of mid-May, the Telluride was selling so quickly that Kia had only 11 days’ worth of its largest vehicle left to sell (against an industry average of 35).
Kia has kept prices nearly level. The entry-level LX model sees a $600 price bump (now starting at $32,790, plus a $1,225 destination fee). For all other trim levels, the price increase is just $200.
Minor Facelift, Big Content Improvements
Outside, Kia says it has slightly redesigned the grille. The company updated its logo, which should make it easy to tell a 2022 example from an older one. If it weren’t for that, we’d have a hard time telling them apart from bodywork alone.
Inside, all trim levels now get the 10.25-inch touchscreen that Kia had previously offered only on the pricier EX and SX models. All trim levels gain an automatic climate control system with separate zones for front and rear passengers.
But perhaps the biggest change is Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control, now standard across the lineup. It uses navigation data to adjust speed automatically into and out of curves and adjusts for speed-limit changes. Highway Driving Assist, which keeps the car centered in its lane and keeps a set distance from the vehicle ahead, is also included.
Prices are for front-drive models; all-wheel drive adds $2,000 to all models except SX, where the bump is $1,900. Destination charge is an additional $1,225.
