Jaguar’s top-of-the-line SUV, the F-PACE, gets an update for the 2021 model year that addresses many of the model’s weaknesses. Currently 12th in our ranking of the Best Small Luxury SUVs of 2020, the F-PACE possesses gorgeous exterior lines, standard all-wheel drive, and the raw speed of its high-performance SVR trim. But our editors found its interior hit and miss due in part to an undersized touchscreen that lags a bit.
For 2021, the model sports a refresh that makes its already rakish exterior a bit more dramatic. More importantly, an interior redo fits an updated, larger, and brighter touchscreen into the dash. Jaguar offers over-the-air software updates. That means any lag issues that develop may be correctable without a trip to the dealership.
That flagship SVR model now boasts a revised suspension system, improved braking performance, more soft-touch Alcantara surfaces throughout. There’s also a boost of two (yes, two) horsepower.
