Chevrolet introduced the all-new 2019 Silverado 1500 in January 2018, then followed it up with the unveiling of the 2019 Silverado 4500/5500/6500 HD in March. Now, the company has released a teaser image of the 2020 Silverado HD ahead of the full reveal of the truck in 2019. The next generation of the Silverado HD will be sold as the Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD. The 2020 Silverado HD will be the third member of the Silverado family to be revealed within 18 months.

While the automaker has only released a single image of the upcoming truck, it’s clear the styling is bolder and more aggressive. Chevrolet is set to begin on-road testing of prototypes of the new Silverado HD. The testing will focus on the company’s durability and validation standards. Chevrolet hasn’t released any performance or capability numbers yet, but production of the truck is set to begin in Flint, Michigan in fall 2019.
