With this teaser image, Toyota is demonstrating that it will not abandon the full-size family sedan market by indicating that an all-new 2019 Avalon will be shown at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January.
The all-new Avalon follows the launch of the all-new 2018 Toyota Camry. The Japanese manufacturer is betting that a redesigned model could give the segment a boost. Full-size car sales are down 10.4 percent so far this year, according to Kelley Blue Book data.
