Ram has introduced a special edition half-ton pickup tailored specifically to deal with winter weather. The 2019 Ram 1500 North Edition has gone on sale with a number of features that allow the vehicle to perform in severe conditions thanks to its 4×4 transfer case with auto, high and low settings, an electric-locking rear axle, tow hooks, engine block heater, heated seats and steering wheel, tow hooks and snow-rated on/off road Falken LT tires.
“The Ram 1500 North is more than a great-looking pickup, it offers cold-weather content for truck owners who require a no-compromise 4×4 as part of their daily regimen,” said Reid Bigland, head of Ram Brand. “A factory lift, locking rear axle and all-weather tires deliver confidence when your path is anything but clear.”

The 2019 Ram 1500 North Edition features a monochromatic paint scheme along with steel-body colored bumpers, door handles, outside mirrors and grille. Among the standard features are remote start, all-weather floor mats, 12-way power driver’s seat, heated outside mirrors, and front and rear park sense. Based on the Big Horn trim level, the package is available on Crew Cab 4×4, short or long bed cab body styles and with a 3.6-liter V6 eTorque Pentastar engine or the 5.7-liter V8 Hemi. Available now, prices start at $45,890 plus $1,695 destination.
