Lexus will use the Los Angeles Auto Show to launch the next in its Inspiration Series of special edition vehicles when it unveils the 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration. The new model will be distinguished by its Black Onyx exterior, 21-inch black alloy wheels and dark exterior trim.
The exterior is contrasted by a white semi-aniline leather interior with a black headliner. Other standard features include heated and ventilated front and outboard rear seating positions. The LX Inspiration is also equipped with 4-zone climate control, a rear seat entertainment system, 19-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio, heated leather and wood steering wheel, wireless charging and a color head-up display.

V8 power
The LX is powered by a 383-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 making 403 lb-ft of torque. The 4-wheel drive vehicle is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and can tow up to 7,000 pounds. The 4-wheel drive system includes low-range gearing, a low-speed crawl assist mode, high-start and turn assists. Other driver assists include blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, lane departure alert and adaptive cruise control.
“It’s always our goal to exceed our guests’ expectations,” said David Christ, group vice president and general manager, Lexus division. “We expect the LX Inspiration Series to continue that tradition with its customized features.”
Only 500 of the 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration Series models will be built with an MSRP of $100,420. Lexus says the vehicle will be available through the end of the holiday season.
