Honda’s updated 2019 Civic Si goes on sale Nov. 1 featuring some updates to the infotainment system, some new colors and other improvements to cabin amenities. The Honda Civic Si returns virtually unchanged from an appearance standpoint and will again be offered in coupe and four-door hatchback body styles. The Si is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine driving the front wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The Si also benefits from a standard limited slip differential and adjustable 2-mode adaptive shock absorbers.

2019 New Car Reviews: First takes on the new models

Answering criticism of a lack of physical controls for the touchscreen, Honda has added a volume knob to the Display Audio System. Other interior upgrades include larger cupholders, revised steering wheel controls that are more intuitive in operation, a new electronic parking brake switch and physical buttons to control fan speed. The two new colors include Platinum White for both coupe and hatch, while the Si Coupe can be painted in a Tonic Yellow Pearl. Honda has dropped summer performance tires as a factory option, but they remain a dealer-installed option.

Both the 2019 Honda Si Coupe and Hatchback start at $25,195 including $895 delivery.
