- Commemorates 35 years of minivans at Chrysler

The Chicago Auto Show is turning into a festival of anniversaries as evidenced by FCA’s unveiling of the 35th anniversary editions of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and Dodge Grand Caravan. Both Mazda and Acura are also marking the respective 30th anniversaries of the MX-5 Miata and NSX.
The special edition 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid and Dodge Grand Caravan feature unique badging, all-black interiors with Cranberry Wine stitching, and additional content ranging from memory seating, larger wheels, navigation and other features.
“We created the minivan segment, we’re proud of our place in it, and we will continue to innovate like we’ve done with the first hybrid minivan, industry-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating, Uconnect Theater with 10-inch touchscreens in the second row and much more,” said Steve Beahm, who heads the Dodge and Chrysler brands. “More than 14.6 million families have created lasting memories in their minivans throughout the past 35 years, through home projects, road trips, soccer practice, you name it. There is no better way to commemorate the anniversary of the people mover that does it all, than by introducing an edition that offers even more value to today’s families.”
Chrysler Pacifica/Pacifica Hybrid 35th Anniversary Editions
The current generation Pacifica supplanted the original Chrysler Town & Country but still will be part of the celebration by offering the anniversary package on Touring L, Touring L Plus and Limited gas and hybrid models. They feature Liquid Chrome Chrysler wing badges with gloss black inserts on the front and rear. The black interior features perforated leather seating, steering wheel cover and door trim with the contrast stitching to go along with black facing on the instrument panel and door handles.
Touring L models also have a memory driver’s seat, 8-passenger seating, Mopar overhead DVD and 18-inch wheels added as standard equipment. Touring L Plus have a dual pane sunroof in addition to the other equipment, while the Limited adds standard 20-inch wheels.
The 2019 Chrysler Pacific Hybrid Touring L has a premium audio group with 13 Alpine speakers, Uconnect 4C navigation with an 8.4-inch display and 17-inch wheels. Hybrid Limited adds the 18-inch wheels as standard. Both gas and hybrid models can be outfitted with an S Appearance package that uses black exterior accents to give the vehicle a sportier look.
Dodge Grand Caravan 35th Anniversary Edition
The 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan features 17-inch tech silver aluminum wheels, a brightwork grille and 35th anniversary fender badges on SE and SXT trim levels. Inside, the Grand Caravan also boasts a black interior with piano black accents on the instrument panel and console, Cranberry Wine contrast stitching and embroiders anniversary logos on the floor mats.
The SE models come with standard Stow ‘N Go second-row seats and power driver’s seat. SXT models come with navigation radio and a Driver Convenience Group with heated front seats and steering wheel along with second-row window shades as standard equipment.
