The minicar segment is a small part of total car sales in the U.S. (no pun intended), but those who like the easy-to-park, fuel-efficient nature of this category choose the Chevrolet Spark more than any other minicar. Some of that can be attributed to the ease of connectivity in a car this size and price–for example, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard–which makes the Spark especially appealing to budget-conscious younger buyers.
For 2019, the Spark receives new styling cues that align it more with other models in Chevy’s lineup. The Spark will have a new grille treatment that adds an X-shaped chrome surround. In addition, the fog lights will be more angular. Projector-style headlights will be an available option. In addition, Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking will be added to the options list for the Spark for the first time. This safety feature, exclusive to the Spark in the minicar segment, comes as part of the Driver Confidence Package, which also includes Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning.

The 2019 will continue to be offered as LS, LT, 2LT and ACTIV models; the ACTIV has different styling cues and a 10mm higher ride height. Pricing will be announced closer to the Spark’s on-sale date.
