Chevrolet used the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) aftermarket parts show in Las Vegas to reveal a new color for the 2019 Camaro: Shock. The bright yellow exterior hue was worn by a 2019 Camaro SS that also previews updates to the 2019 model. Shock will join the new palette for Camaro, bringing the number of available colors to 11, up from eight for 2018. Shock joins returning colors Red Hot, Garnet Red Tintcoat, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, Mosaic Black Metallic and Black, along with new colors Riverside Blue Metallic, Shadow Gray Metallic, Satin Steel Gray Metallic and Crush (a bright orange hue). Hyper Blue Metallic and Nightfall Gray Metallic are no longer available.
In addition to new color choices, Camaro will receive updates and changes for 2019. LS, LT and SS models get new front-end styling, including a new fascia, grille, dual-element headlamps, hood and new LED signature lighting. The RS package gets unique headlamps and signature lighting, while the ZL1 model retains its front-end styling from 2018. New LED taillamps with red lenses on LS and LT and dark-tinted neutral-density lenses on RS, SS and ZL1. New wheel designs are available for all models, along with new Chevrolet infotainment systems, a full-display rearview camera mirror, and Forward Collision Alert.
Performance packages added
Also new for 2019, the 1LE Track Performance package will be available for order on the Camaro coupe with the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine ($4,500), an option previously reserved for V6 and V8 models. Camaro SS can be ordered with a new 10-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission ($1,595) to replace the standard six-speed manual transmission.

Chevy has expanded its accessory offerings for Camaro, including accessories and performance parts designed by “the same engineers responsible for the Camaro itself,” validated to the same standards as factory-installed components. Installing official accessories and parts does not void the new-vehicle limited warranty.
Pricing
Prices for the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro coupe start at $25,995 (an increase of $90 over 2018), while convertible models start at $32,495 (a decrease of $405). Four engine choices are available: a 6.2-liter V8; a 6.2-liter supercharged V8; a 3.6-liter V6; and a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder. Camaro comes in seven trim levels, from the base 1LS to the performance-oriented ZL1 (starting at $62,495 coupe/$68,495 convertible).
