Ready to debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the 2018 Volvo XC60 SUV promises to add appeal to the automaker’s luxury compact crossover SUV lineup. While Volvo has not released any specifics about the new XC60, the image suggests it will introduce more contemporary styling while maintaining cues found on the larger XC90 with which it also will share the same Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform technology.

Like the current XC60, this all-new replacement will only be fitted with 4-cylinder turbocharged Drive-E engine, whether in front-drive or all-wheel drive. Like its bigger brother, the 2018 XC60 is expected to offer hybrid/plug-in version, although we’ll have to wait until to official reveal to find out exactly what Volvo plans and when the first new XC60s will arrive in U.S. showrooms.
