Aimed at active-lifestyle buyers, the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure debuted in Chicago. Slotting between the LE and SE and available in front-drive form with an Automatic Limited-Slip Differential or with Dynamic Torque Control all-wheel-drive, the new RAV4 Adventure matches distinctive cosmetics with a selection of mechanical upgrades. It can be had in Black, Magnetic, Gray Metallic, Silver Sky Metallic, Super White and Ruby Flare Pearl, a new color on offer for all 2018 RAV4 models.

To bolster its off-road prowess, the new RAV4 Adventure features a higher-riding suspension and adds protective overfender flares as well as unique lower-body guards. It rolls on 18-inch black alloy wheels wrapped in beefy 235/55 tires, and that noir trim theme extends to its headlamp/fog lamp bezels, roof rack and Adventure badging. Whether FWD or AWD, the RAV4 Adventure includes a Tow Prep Package that brings an upgraded radiator along with supplemental engine oil and transmission fluid coolers.
