Lexus announced a refreshed version of its compact NX crossover will be unveiled next month at Auto Shanghai 2017. Launched three years ago, the NX is set for a fairly comprehensive mid-cycle makeover. At this point, the automaker has stated the recast NX will feature an updated exterior and interior along with new features.

No word on whether we can expect to see any powertrain changes in this trendy 5-passenger hauler which is currently sold here in NX200t form with a 2.0-liter/235-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Offered in either front- or all-wheel drive, the NX range also includes a more fuel-efficient AWD-only NX300h Hybrid fitted with a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter 4-cylinder combined with an electric motor to collectively develop 194 horsepower.
