Adding more enthusiast flair to its new flagship sedan family, Lexus will unveil the 2018 LS F Sport at the New York Auto Show. Based on the same new architecture for luxury vehicles, the (GA-L) platform also underpins the redesigned 2018 Lexus LS 500 and LS 500h sedans. This performance upgrade will be available on both.

Except for the teaser image, Lexus released little about the LS F Sport beyond that it will leverage the dynamic strengths of the new GA-L structure “to present the most engaging LS driving experience yet.” Based on previous LS F Sport packages, this new variation can be expected to maintain the standard powertrain but complement its edgier exterior with interior upgrades. It’ll likely have more aggressive suspension tuning and braking as well as a limited-slip differential on rear-drive models.
