Dodge took the wraps off a 2018 Durango that has a factory-custom look thanks to its Mopar aftermarket parts division. Buyers can spec a variety of stripes, interior accents, new springs and a performance exhaust on 2018 Dodge Durango R/T and SRT models.

The new dual stripe theme is available in five colors on both the R/T and SRT models, along with the available factory tuned exhaust system for improved flow, a deeper sound and better performance. The stripes, which cover the front and rear fascias, hood, portions of the roof and the tailgate, will be available starting next month in bright blue, flame red, gunmetal low glass, low gloss black and sterling silver and have an MSRP of $1,195. The exhaust system, which includes 4-inch welded and polished tips, is available now on the R/T for $1,595, while the SRT system costs $1,850 and will go on sale in the second quarter of 2018.

Lowering spring kit

SRT models can also be fitted with a performance spring kit that lowers ride height by 0.6 inch. According to Dodge, the new springs reduce rear-end squat on acceleration, nose dive when braking and body roll in cornering. The spring kit costs $325 and will also be available next month.

Finally, SRT models can also be equipped with an interior appearance group that features a premium-wrapped instrument panel, Dinamica soft-touch headliner, accent paint on speaker trim rings and carbon fiber instrument panel and door bezels. Available now, the upgrade has an MSRP of $2,495.

“Our Dodge SRT performance enthusiasts are always looking for ways to make their vehicle their own,” said Steve Beahm, Head of Passenger Cars, Dodge SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “The available stripes and carbon fiber throughout the interior really give Durango a custom look from the factory, and they are perfectly complemented by Mopar’s available exhaust systems and performance springs, which make Durango even more fun to drive.”
