A first look of what to expect when the new 2017 Porsche Panamera gets its full reveal in Berlin has been released by the German automaker. Although few specifics have been confirmed, we do know this Gen remake of Porsche’s 4-door sport sedan will ride on a new modular MSB platform, be significantly lighter and even more powerful than the current car in both V6 and V8 forms as well as in its more efficient Hybrid guise. Disguised versions of the car have been spotted testing in Europe.

Based on these preview images, the new Panamera will have a smoother, sleeker appearance. Expect that exterior changes to be accompanied by a comprehensive cabin redesign which will bring a new center stack along with enhanced comfort/convenience touches. In addition to offering more active/passive driver assist systems, rumors persist that the new Panamera Sedan will spawn an equally cool and performance-oriented Sport Wagon sibling at some point in the future.
