Following up on its full refresh for 2016 and the revamped 2017 Accord Hybrid, the 2017 Honda Accord Coupe and Sedan models are set to hit showrooms this week with the 4-door offering a new Sport Special Edition trim level. Building on the standard equipment found in the 2017 Accord Sport, the new Sport Special Edition adds leather seats with red stitching in place of cloth plus heated front buckets and a "Special Edition" badge. It starts at $26,250 when its 189-horsepower/2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine is backed by the standard 6-speed manual transmission or $27,050 when teamed with the continuously variable automatic. The Special Edition models are $1,000 above their respective Accord Sport Sedan counterparts, and both reflect the Sport trim level’s $250 price bump over the 2016 MSRP numbers.

As for pricing on the remainder of the largely carryover 2017 Accord Lineup, the 4-cylinder LX Sedan opens at $23,190 and runs through $24,990 when fitted with the CVT and Honda Sensing safety kit while the 4-cylinder EX commences at $26,565 and tops out at $31,633 with leather, Navi and Honda Sensing. Packing a 278-horsepower/3.5-liter V6 backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission, the Accord EX-L Sedan starts at $31,730 with the EX-L with Navi and Honda Sensing beginning at $33,730. The top-line Touring is priced from $35,665.

On the 2-door/4-cylinder side of the equation, the 2017 Honda Accord Coupe LX-S starts at $24,860 and runs to $26,710 with CVT and Honda Sensing while the EX ranges from $26,985 when fitted with a 6-speed manual to $31,830 for an automatic version with Navi and Honda Sensing. The V6 Coupe contingent consists of three leather-wrapped EX-L variants. The two basic models command $32,010 regardless of transmission while the EX-L automatic with Navi and Honda Sensing runs $2,000 more. The fully loaded V6 Coupe Touring carries a $35,210 sticker.
