The 2017 Chrysler 300S is adding revised Sport Appearance Packages along with a number of other detail upgrades that enhance the appeal of this full-size 4-door. “The new 2017 Chrysler 300S re-excites the passion of what owning an American flagship sedan is about,” said Tim Kuniskis, who heads North American FCA Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT. “And now for our Chrysler enthusiasts, two all-new Sport Appearance Packages take the 300S model’s athletic styling and appointments to the next level.”

The new Exterior Sport Appearance Package is standard issue on all V8-powered 300S models and optional on V6 variants. It starts with an edgier front fascia that boasts larger air intakes and unique strip-style foglamps consisting of eight LEDs. Gloss-black headlamp bezels and an upsized body-color Mobius accent element emphasize its wide stance while more prominently sculpted side sills and 20-inch alloy wheels (19-inchers on AWD models) plus a decklid spoiler and dual exhausts with bright tips add more kick to the profile and tail. Offering what it calls an avant-garde “industrial tough look,” the 300S also will expand its color palette with new Ceramic Gray paint.

Opting for the Interior Sport Appearance Package brings subtle but tasteful tweaks highlighted by more deeply bolstered, heated/ventilated front buckets covered in perforated leather with suede inserts. Like other 300S models, it has Piano Black accents on the dash, door panels and instrument-cluster bezels along with Light Gray Diesel-colored stitching on doors, center console armrests, instrument panel and steering wheel. While pricing for the 2017 Chrysler 300S Sport Performance Packages has not been released, the order books for both open in August ahead of a fall arrival
