2017 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban Midnight Editions Unveiled

Expanding its near-ubiquitous noir-themed packages to two large SUVs in its lineup, Chevy has announced the 2017 Tahoe and Suburban Midnight Edition models will be rolling into showrooms late this year. Joining the previously revealed Silverado, Colorado, Equinox and Trax sporting this treatment, the Midnight Edition is offered in either LT or off-road Z71 trims.

Both LT Midnight Editions in the Tahoe and Suburban upgrade the standard equipment with 20-inch black wheels wrapped in all-season tires, roof rack cross rails, black assist steps and black Chevrolet “Bow Tie” logos. Moving up to the 4-wheel drive Z71 brings 18-inch black-painted Z71 wheels, aggressive Goodyear DuraTrac off-road tires, roof rack cross rails, a black grille insert and black Chevrolet “Bow Tie” logos.

The Tahoe and Suburban currently account for nearly half of all full-size SUVs sold in America. With Chevy noting that every Midnight Edition vehicle has proven to be extremely popular with buyers, it was only a matter of time before this package turned up at the top end of the truck lineup, as well. Pricing for both 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban Midnight Edition packages will be announced closer to their on-sale dates.
