Revealed at the Chicago Auto Show, the 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Special Edition is a limited-run offering based on the 2.0i Premium model. Finished in an eye-popping Pure Red, only 1,500 Crosstrek SE’s are set to roll off the production line. Vehicles will start arriving in dealers this spring and will carry a starting sticker of $26,445.

Beyond its distinctive exterior color, the Crosstrek Special Edition also features custom red accent stitching on its leather-wrapped shift lever handle, steering wheel and door panels along with a red dash inlay. To add a bit of atmosphere to the mix, the new Subaru Crosstrek SE also boasts soft-red ambient lighting in the front floor area and center stow space.
