The 2016 Porsche Panamera Edition couples distinctive design touches with a host of upgraded tech features as it replaces the departing Platinum Edition. This stylish successor pushes virtually all of the same key equipment buttons but can be had in any Panamera exterior color set off by high-gloss black trim on the side windows. Other standard equipment includes Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System and 19-inch Panamera Turbo II alloy wheels with a full-color Porsche crest. Versions fitted with optional Porsche Entry & Drive have color-keyed door handles. Both the rear-drive Panamera Edition and all-wheel-drive Panamera 4 Edition mate a 310-horsepower/3.6-liter V6 with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and Porsche Traction Management. Other features include Porsche Active Suspension Management, front/rear Park Assist with a back-up camera and Power Steering Plus.

Inside, the Panamera Edition features a two-tone Black/Luxor Beige leather trim, a Sport Design steering wheel, door sill plates with "Edition" lettering, the Porsche crest embossed on all head rests and unique floor mats. The standard Porsche Communication Management system with a 7.0-inch touchscreen controls the 14-speaker/585-watt Bose Surround Sound System audio system as well as navigation and communication functions. U.S. versions also boast 14-way comfort seats with the comfort memory package up front and heated seats all around. On sale here this June, pricing for the 2016 Porsche Panamera Edition will start at $80,995. The 2016 Panamera 4 Edition will open at $85,295.
