Ford of Europe has released a single semi-revealing image of a revamped C-Max that’s expected to preview a facelifted and feature-enhanced U.S. 2016 C-Max. From what we can see, the recast C-Max boasts sleeker and edgier front-end styling. While a full reveal of the 5-passenger Euro C-Max and its 7-seat Grand C-Max sibling will come later this week, at this point Ford has no comment on the upcoming Ameri-spec version of its compact hybrid crossover. However, the trade publication Automotive News has indicated the 2016 C-Max – currently sold here in both Hybrid and Energi Plug-in Hybrid form – also may spawn a fuel-cell variant in some markets. We’ll know more soon.
