Priced at $20,015, the newest addition to the Beetle family opens nearly $1,500 below its baseline 1.8T counterpart. Like the standard 1.8T Coupe, the new Beetle Classic version is powered by VW’s 170-horsepower/1.8-liter turbocharged TSI 4-cylinder engine that’s mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Early next year, it will be joined by a Classic 1.8T Convertible that set to start at $26,815 — $650 more than a regular Beetle 1.8T drop-top.
