The official online configurator for the 2015 Ford Mustang has now gone live and we’ve learned that the eagerly awaited new-gen pony car will start at $24,425 for a base coupe powered by the 3.7-liter V6 — about $125 less than an entry-level V6-powered 2015 Chevrolet Camaro 1LS. Fit the hard-shell Mustang with Ford‘s new 2.3-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder and that figure rises to $25,995 with an EcoBoost Premium version commanding $29,995. The 5.0-liter V8-powered GT coupe opens at $32,925 while a Premium-spec GT begins at $36,925. Selecting the optional 6-speed automatic transmission in place of the standard 6-speed manual gearbox raises each of those figures by $1,195.

Dedicated sun chasers will have a choice of three drop-top Mustang variants. The 2015 Mustang V6 convertible starts at $29,925 while the EcoBoost Premium version stickers at $32,935 and the GT Premium will set you back $42,425. There’s still no word on pricing for the 2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition which will be produced in a limited run of 1,964 units, nor on official output numbers for any of the engines. The 2015 Ford Mustang goes on sale later this year.
