While its official beauty shots have yet to be released, a mildly restyled and updated 2015 Cadillac CTS Sedan has surfaced in a new OnStar TV commercial that features the division’s mid-size 4-door and touts its new  OnStar 4G LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot. Cadillac previously confirmed the 2015 CTS Sedan will sport a revised grille and the new wreathless Cadillac crest along with a revamped chevron-shaped high-mount stoplight in the leading edge of the decklid. New Crystal White Tricoat and Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic exterior colors also are new.

Inside, buyers can now choose from a wider range of trim combinations and opt for a new DockSpot magnetic inductive charging system to ensure their cellphone is always ready for action. An upgrade to the optional Automatic Parking Assist now helps the CTS Sedan slip into perpendicular slots as well as parallel spaces while the standard CUE infotainment system has been upgraded to integrate text message alerts. But the big news for this primo 4-door is the arrival of 4G LTE.

Being rolled out in a number of General Motors vehicles for 2015, OnStar with 4G LTE connectivity is 10 times faster than the previous 3G setup and provides stronger and broader coverage than a smartphone on a conventional network adding a new dimension of convenience when it comes to on-the-road communication. The new system also includes a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot that’s operational whenever the vehicle is switched on. As in other GM cars, it comes with a 3-month/3-gigabyte data trial, after which owners can choose from multiple plans that best suit their usage patterns.

Mechanically, the 2015 Cadillac CTS Sedan carries over intact, offering Luxury, Performance and Premium Collections in addition to a standard-spec model. Engine choices continue to be the 272-horsepower/2.0-liter Turbo four, a 312-horse/3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 and the 420-horsepower/3.6-liter Twin-Turbo V6 that’s exclusive to the CTS performance-oriented CTS Vsport model. Pricing on the 2015 Cadillac CTS Sedan lineup has not yet been released.
