Dodge has added all-wheel drive capability to its more affordable SE package in its lineup of Journey crossover SUVs, reducing the entry-price for the option by $1,800. Previously available on higher line SXT, Crossroad, Limited and R/T models, the addition of the all-wheel drive to Journey SE models equipped with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 starts at $24,895, excluding the $995 destination charge.

In addition to the 283-horsepower V6 engine, the Journey SE has a long list of standard equipment that includes 17-inch wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and electronic stability control, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, keyless entry and ignition, power windows and door locks, tilt/telescoping steering column, cruise control and power heated outside mirrors. The base 5-passenger model can also be equipped with optional 7-passenger 3-row seating.
Journey is also available in front-drive, 4-cylinder AVP models as well as a 7-passenger variant starting at less than $20,000.
