While it won’t make its formal public debut until the 2012 Detroit Auto Show next January, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup will find its way into the limelight at another "special media event" on December 13th. The reveal will be held at the Michigan Motion Picture Studios in the Detroit suburb of Pontiac.
Save for confirming that the next-gen Silverado will be joined by its corporate cousin, the equally-new 2014 GMC Sierra 1500, Chevy representatives offered no additional information about this gathering. However, they did release an undisguised detail image of the new Silverado showing its jewel-like projector beam headlamp that "showcases the careful attention given to every detail."
