Intended to add even more visual and functional spark to the four-cylinder version of its mid-size four-door coupe, the 2013 Volkswagen CC 2.0T R-line will go on sale here late this year. A step-up from the CC Sport model, buyers of the new R-Line variant will be able to match its turbocharged 200-horsepower/2.0-liter TSI engine with either the standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 6-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic.
Exterior changes for this new CC R-Line include a more aggressive, brightwork-enhanced front fascia treatment with a larger lower air intake, corner-following adaptive bi-Xenon Headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights and projector-style fog lights up front complemented by unique side skirts, LED taillamps with smoked lenses, custom 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and R-Line badging.
Inside, the 2013 Volkswagen CC 2.0T R-Line features V-Tex leatherette seating surfaces, heated 12-way power front buckets, a Climatronic automatic climate-control system, eight-speaker Premium VIII sound system with HD Radio and touchscreen, 6-disc CD changer, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity along with rain-sensing wipers, stainless-steel "R-Line" logo scuff plates and a paddle-shifter-enhanced multifunction steering wheel on DSG-equipped models.
Pricing for the new 2013 Volkswagen CC 2.0T R-line will be released closer to its on-sale date.
