Making its debut at this month’s Moscow Auto Show, Suzuki‘s Grand Vitara SUV rolls into the coming year boasting a number of welcome styling tweaks. Although the vehicle pictured is an international-spec version, we can expect to see the same elements appear on U.S. models.
The Grand Vitara’s visual refresh starts with a new front fascia treatment that includes a redesigned grill with a bolder looking dual-bar insert and blackout headlamp bezels. Suzuki notes that the front undergarnish is now made from a newly developed SSPP (Suzuki Super Polypropylene) material that’s both lighter than the material it replaces and can be color matched to the bodywork with out the need for painting. Chrome side moldings and new alloy wheels in 17-inch and 18-inch varieties round out the exterior changes. The Grand Vitara’s color palette also will be expanded to include a pair of new colors, Bison Brown Pearl Metallic and Gaia Bronze Pearl Metallic. Inside, the 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara receives new interior fabrics.
The 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara goes on sale here this fall and pricing will be released closer to the on-sale date.
