Announced here previously and finally hitting the stands at the Moscow Auto Show last week, the 2013 Jaguar XFR will offer a new Speed Pack option that brings a bit more edge to its exterior styling while upping its overall performance quotient.
Visually, the Speed Pack brings subtle aero tweaks to the supercharged Jag sedan that includes a new front splitter and a unique rear spoiler. Functionally, the computer mapping on the Jaguar XFR’s 510-horsepower/5.0-liter force-fed V8 and 8-speed ZF automatic transmission have been redone, allowing the still-electronically-limited top speed to rise from 155 mph to 174 mph. Jag also indicates that the suspension tuning also has been revised, although it provided no specifics. The new Speed Pack will add $3,900 to the $84,075 base price of a 2013 Jaguar XFR.
