2013 Chevrolet Camaro Dusk Special Edition announced

2013 Chevrolet Camaro Dusk Special Edition

Borrowing heavily from a concept car that first appeared at the 2010 SEMA Show, the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Dusk Special Edition has now officially rolled from the twilight into the limelight. This tastefully rendered package is available on any Camaro 2LT or SS model and also includes most of the upgrade bits form the standard RS Appearance Package.

All Camaro Dusk Special Edition cars feature Blue Ray Metallic paint — complemented by a blue soft top on convertible models — plus a bespoke front splitter and rocker sills set off by HID xenon headlamps with "halo rings." A set of custom 21-inch silver-painted alloy wheels round out the exterior changes and wear 245/40 tires up front and 275/35s on the rears.

The cabin on the Camaro Dusk Special Edition displays a similar kind of understated edginess. Seats and soft instrument-panel inserts are covered in supple Mojave leather with yellow contrast stitching while the door panels and other dash elements go the Blue Ray Metallic route. Ice Blue ambient lighting adds a touch of cool class to all, and cars fitted with a V8 and 6-speed manual transmission also can be had with a Hurst shifter kit.

The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Dusk Special Edition upgrade is priced at a $5,995 and can be ordered through any Chevrolet dealer. Production of the Dusk Special Edition is scheduled to take place from August to December, and Chevy says that the actual number of vehicles in the build run will be determined by time and not by a set volume.
