More details about the hottest version of Buick‘s compact sedan line have surfaced, and the news is good. Due to arrive in dealers this November, the 2013 Buick Verano Turbo has now officially been priced at $29,990. As indicated in our earlier Verano reveal story, the turbocharged Ecotec 4-cylinder engine in this luxo-performance 4-door will crank out a stout 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, sufficient to send it from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds when fitted with either 6-speed automatic transmission or the no-cost 6-speed manual gearbox. Buick also announced the Verano Turbo is expected to carry EPA marks of 20 mpg city/31 mpg highway when fitted with the 6M shifter.
Complementing the Verano Turbo’s high-performance turbocharged engine are a dual exhausts and a tasteful rear spoiler. Inside, it features leather upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel, aluminum pedal set, a 9-speaker Bose audio system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio with three months of complementary service, OnStar with six months of Directions and Connections, Buick’s Intellilink connectivity, push-button starting, rear park assist and rearview camera and side blind zone alert/rear cross-traffic alert. Key extras include a power moonroof and Buick’s new GPS-enabled navigation system.
