Adding a bit more exclusivity to its already-premium package, the 2013 BMW Individual X6 Performance Edition is a limited-run addition to the automaker’s sports activity vehicle line that will add both style and performance to both the xDrive35i and xDrive50i variants. BMW plans to produce only 50 of each with deliveries to start in December.
To bump the adrenalin index, both models are fitted with an M Performance Package. It adds 15 horsepower and 30 lb-ft of torque to the 3.0-liter turbo six in the xDrive35i, bringing those totals to 315 and 330 respectively. Output of the xDrive50i’s underhood arsenal rises by 40 ponies and 30 lb-ft of additional twist, taking those figures to 440 and 480.
Regardless of powertrain, all BMW Individual X6 Performance Editions will be finished in Pearl Silver metallic paint, sport 20-inch Y-Spoke alloy wheels and black chrome exhaust tips. Inside, the seats and door panels are upholstered in Black Alcantara and Leather with Sakhir Orange contrast stitching while the dash and center console feature BMW Individual Carbon Leather Wrapped Trim. Other upgrades common to both models are soft close doors, running boards, a five-seat option, satellite radio with one-year subscription, BMW Apps and the Premium, Cold Weather and Technology Packages. The xDrive50i also LED headlights and Premium Sound Package.
Pricing for the 2013 BMW X6 xDrive35i starts at $81,695 while 2013 BMW X6 xDrive50i opens at $92,895. For ordering info, contact your local BMW dealer.
